Hello baking companions!
I am these days looking for recipes. I am searching specially vegan desserts.
Do anybody know a really wonderfull recipe for an apple or pear tart, pie, or cake??(I have to confess that I do not know yet the differences between those terms...hahaha)
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you so much and have a good day

Lots of vegan options
Choose a soy based margerine for the butter and use vegetable shortening when you make the pie crust and almost all pies can easily be made vegan. As for cakes, try Vegan With A Vengeance. It's a great cookbook with lots of recipes that are really delicious.
coconut oil
You can also substitute coconut oil for the butter/shortening in crust recipes if you want to make a pie crust vegan.
How about a cobbler? There are lots of great cobbler recipes and they don't require eggs. The only substitute you have to make is soy for the milk and coconut oil for the butter. Cobbler is super easy and will work with any of your favorite fruits. I recently made one with blueberries that was to die for!
I use the All Recipes website for most of my dessert recipes and then make substitutions as needed. (although not vegan, very health aware and cooking for some food allergies)
Vegan recipe blog
Hi Pablo,
My friend is a vegan chef in Oakland, CA and started a blog of his recipes last year. I am most certain you will be EXTREMELY pleased with his postings and will find luscious baked goods as well as frozen desserts and savory meals.

Vegan Cupcakes
The book Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World has some amazing recipes. My wife and I are not vegan, but we think the cupcakes from that book are better than anything else out there.
