Oven Rack Position and Layering


When baking a pan of croissants, some made with puff pastry, etc., what is the best location for the oven rack? I have a stone on on the lowest rack position but wonder where I should position the other rack so that I get the most oven spring/highest amount of layering?

Middle, maybe.

I Googled the question and most of the links indicated the middle position was the most appropriate.

You might want to check your oven manual and see what they suggest.
