Avoid Fulgor like the plague

Toast

There is really no place to put this - and I am referring to the entire web.

There is no www forum for standard home range reviews.  CR can't keep up.

I needed a new gas range; parts for my old FiveStar have become obsolete.

I bought a Fulgor Milano.  The price was right.  The oven wasn't , however.

Left side of the oven always cooler than right, sometimes up to 80 degrees F cooler.

Temperature excursion was always excessive, sometimes going from 70 F below setting to 70 F above, an excursion of 140 degrees F.

Service was through a company in Florida, Pinnacle; I am in Atlanta.  Their reaction to my data logging was to forward it to the factory in Italy.

The factory twice sent a tech to my home (via Lakeview, a multistate service company), first to measure temperatures and then to measure gas pressures.  It would have been cheaper for them just to replace the controller and thermostat.

Within one month the coating on one of the cast iron hobs (not enamel - hard to say what is was) pitted and cratered off.

Pinnacle was pleasant on email, as I was with them but after the second month they just announced that my ticket was closed without explanation and ghosted me.  After four months they sent me an email announcing that they were opening another ticket for me but by then I had revoked payment and sent the range back to the local vendor.

Be warned.
