Hello everyone! I started getting into baking bread about a year ago and the TFL archives have been a great resource, particularly for very niche topics. So I decided to join and hopefully some day I can contribute a bit of helpful info for others too.
I primarily bake with all whole grains; so far only commercial flour, though soon I'll be diving into home milling. Recently I got my first sourdough starter going too (thanks again to everyone for the help in the thread I posted!) Because I just can't seem to limit myself to getting into only one kind of trouble at a time.
I do quite a bit of experimenting with ingredients and various techniques, and fortunately I've gotten to the point where even the misadventures end up pretty tasty. I've still got a long way to go and a lot to learn, looking forward to that journey. And I'm glad to have found a community of fellow bread enthusiasts who seem even more adventurous than I am, and so generously helpful too!
