Hi All,
I trimmed my kaffir lime tree (it shot up about 5 ft higher than I wanted).
I will pick the leaves off the cuttings. If anyone would like them, please send me an email.
Postage for a small flat rate box is $10. I will pack it to a max; leaves come unwashed ( to preserve the oils and flavor).
For storage, give them a quick rinse and freeze them flat in ziplock bags.

Galangal plants also available-no charge except postage. I think a small flat rate can hold at 2-3 with roots and soil packed around it. Please check your local area for restrictions on live plant matter.
Thanks for sharing with us!

Hi Yippee,
You are welcome!
Hope to hear of your recent interests!!
You sound like had a lot of fun gardening, jo_en! I had problem with caterpillars, I gave up 😆 The leaves go well with seafood, we here sometimes make lightly braised clams, along with lemongrass and galangal.
If you feel extra adventurous, try pasta with oil-based sauce with them :)

I love clam pasta!!
Here was my way to enhance the lowly chicken broth in a carton! The watery puree gives a nice crisp freshness and beautiful speckles of green to chicken broth.( Instant noodles came to the rescue just to get the idea of a premium noodle soup.)
Please don't forget the miracle herb treatment (for aging skin) !
My application is of course to Bread!!- I want to see how the lime leaf/raw garlic/coconut flavors hold in a lean crusty white whole wheat pan loaf.
On gardening- Do bitter greens hold up against your caterpillars?
On lime leaf orders- I gave out 600 gr of 3 sizes of lime leaf (baby, med, large) today but will have more later in the season. The postage should come down to $2-3 for 50-60gr if I understood the uspo rates correctly.
