A loaf of Einkorn bread.

Hello! I have been baking for a while, but I'm not great at it. I tend to make a few loaves a year, but I've started to try and get better at it by trying to bake more regularly. Tools I commonly use are a home mill, a Cuisinart bread maker, and I also use silicone bread pans in the oven.

Most commonly my loaves turn out dense and not very pretty looking. However, I am always looking for ways to improve and better understand what I did wrong.

I look forward to getting to know everyone and learning new tips and tricks. I am hoping by utilizing a community tailored to baking, I will be able to learn from my shortcomings, and become a better baker.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

You have found a great place from which to learn.  There are a lot of very helpful amateur and pro-amateur bakers hear that are willing to help you out.  A couple of tips:  try the search function first.  It is often the very fastest way to get an answer to a fairly simple question.  The other tip is when you need to post a question, provide as much information on your formula/recipe, process steps and environment as possible.  It will help us help you quicker.

Let us know how you progress!
