PSA - KitchenAid commercial mixer RPM info
I was looking for KitchenAid commercial mixer (8 qt one, not the artisan one) RPMs. Couldn't find anywhere, called KA, here's what I got below. Posting as PSA..
Stir - 60
Speed 2 - 95
Speed 4 - 135
Speed 6 - 180
Speed 8 - 225
Speed 10 - 280

Electronic speed control. Your mileage may vary. If it is a PMDC motor it is likely to be very close, if it is a triac driven AC motor it will be all over the place. In the first case it is a relatively expensive 3-phase motor that is driven the speed control. In the second case it an series wound pulse width modulated AC motor, thus cheap with inherently inaccurate speed control.
