Hobart A-200 - help with removing parts

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and hoping all you experts who have already done this before can provide some help to me.  I want to remove these 2 parts and clean them up, remove the rust and repaint them and then put them back on.  I'm hoping it's not too difficult as I will be trying to do this myself and I'm a 62 year old women with little mechanical knowledge.  I've attached some pics to help explain what I want to do and would love any and all input.

Pic one is the mixing assembly, I'd like to remove this but not sure if the ring on the outside has to come off first?  Or is the whole thing one piece.

Pic two is the bowl support assembly, I'd like to know how easy this is to remove and how to do it.

Thank you again and look forward to the replies.

Probably easiest to send you a link to the Hobart A200 service manual:

Plenty of good Youtube videos too:

Now, since these have been made for the past 60 or more years, there are a number of differences in detail (my A200-2251ED is from 2017, and has a much simplified upper transmission bearings, but much more involved wiring and safety features, for example).

Good luck!
