Whole grain pancakes?

I made some whole wheat pancakes yesterday  for the second time. Didn't forget the egg, but almost added in the baking powder at the last minute, and forgotten the fruit and hazelnut.

Will list all ingredients later today. But tips here as I'm Type2 diabetic, have to use low sodium, etc.

thanks

I use home milled soft wheat for pancakes, and they come out fine.  KA also has a recipe for whole wheat and oat pancakes  ( I sub out the AP flour for WWW )   This is to make a large mix, though you can reduce the quantities  to try it out https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/homemade-whole-grain-pancake-mix-recipe    This is alton brown's recipe  https://www.food.com/recipe/alton-browns-fluffy-whole-wheat-pancakes-367290

This website includes a recipe for sourdough discard pancakes that works nicely for me.  My starter is 100% dark rye at 100% hydration - I use 1.5 - 2X the milk in the recipe.  It works with almond milk as well as cow milk.
