Stainless Steel Carafe fot Vitamix A-2300.

I want to get this container! It is only availible for any model in the Ascent Series line of blenders.

Vitamix website states that

Stainless Steel Container is compatible with all the company’s full-size blenders, supporting the same power, precision, durability and performance Vitamix users expect – just with a new, metallic look.

Mine is not Ascent and I am thinking of getting myself one as well.

I have that pitcher.  We use it nearly every day and it has really proven its value.  We never use the plastic one that came with the base.

Maybe they've changed it, but when I read about it, they said that it was  made for use with the Ascent series only.
