i am looking to change my White flour starter to Whole wheat flour starter. Could you give me the directions to convert and maintain the starter. My white starter is 1:1.
Just switch over a little at a time over the course of a week or just take a little starter xand dump in the ww. It'll ferment over time, no problem. Maintain as you would the white, but it'll probably need a higher ratio of flour to starter. Observe and adjust as needed. Enjoy!
