I'm Trace, aka Tzigane. I hail from the SF Bay Area.
I've been reading this site for years and have just started to get back to bread baking after a long hiatus. I've worked as a pastry cook professionally, did a lot of recipe conversion from metric to Imperial, and, in general, love baked goods.
Recently, I've revived an old starter and am trying my hand at sourdough boules. I am also researching countertop flour grinders when I'm not dealing with my winter garden, feeding my hummingbirds, or making things with discard.
