I purchased a banneton online and it arrived this week, but unfortunately it had a big sliver on the inside. Any tips on how to repair it?
Then use it as is, just be sure to fill that void with your dusting flour. If your using a cloth you can skip that step. Smile. I would not sweat that little defect.
My bannetons have chips as well. I have used those chips as an opportunity to practice wabi-sabi ?
