- Hiya I'm looking forward to getting some ideas for bread baking. I have a bread maker but also love making it normally . Looking forward to getting some ideas from here . For those that live in the uk can you post where you get your flour from please

Hi Janie, I'm from the UK too and it's a bit of a struggle to get strong flour at the moment because most of the production is geared towards supplying bakeries. But try this http://www.nabim.org.uk/consumers/where-can-i-buy-flour/
Alternatively, you could try sourdough as it doesn't seem to make any difference whether I use bread flour or AP flour.
