New Sourdough Bread Calculator
Greetings fellow sourdough enthusiasts! As I was dissatisfied with the vast majority of sourdough bread calculators floating around I decided to build my own. It's a MacOS X app that includes separate calculators for both sourdough & dry yeast recipes. And I threw in a feature that converts a variety of measurements and values pertinent to baking. In any event, I thought one or two of you might find it useful, or as a useful time saver. It is a for-fee app, $1.99 to cover the cost of development. Oh by the way, it would be nice for you to give the heads up that this is a for fee app. I know that $1.99 is not a lot but it did put a damper on my enthusiasm. Do you have a trial version?
I wish there was something similar for those of us who refuse to embrace Apple. Breadstorm is only available for iPhones too. :(

I was interested in Breadstorm, but it's been well over a year since there have been any updates or bug fixes, and while the developer insists it's "still in active development," I've been in the software industry long enough to know what year+ with no updates means.
I think there's a market for a reasonably priced, continuously developed app.
Your right, apologies - I am asking for $1.99 for the time spent developing the app. A Windows version is in the works; I must admit, I know less about programming than sourdough, so we'll have to be patient!
I'm glad to be patient, as you request, but please know that I am holding the money in my trembling hands. Doesn't have to be a phone app, just desktop is fine.

I know this is an old post, but thought I'd try. I really like the calculator shown above, mostly because it starts with starter weight & total dough weight. That's how I roll too. I do have an iPhone 13 Pro, and wondering how to go about finding it. Please let me know, email me also if needed. Thanks!!
