pain de coeur (all about the shape)
Here are a couple of the loaves baked for the Valentines weekend.
Bread flour, spelt, rye and levain. Pretty basic formula. The challenge was in the shaping and still getting a good oven spring. Worked out well they were a hit. Hope everyone had a nice day.

They are nicely shaped you will have to start giving lessons and I bet they tasted grand. Good job.

Stu- thanks so much for the nice comments. Of course the taste is what counts and they hit the mark. Most of them shaped up quite will too. Wasn't too sure in the beginning as this was the first time I tried this.
