Hello from central Indiana!
I am new to bread baking, but am jumping in with both feet! I just purchased "My Bread" by Jim Lahey, and have made a couple loaves of his no-knead bread. Waiting for Ken Forkish's book "Flour, Water, Salt, Yeast" to arrive.
I recently graduated with a culinary certificate and have been deciding what direction to go in. I'm an older beginner (42), and after reading about a few home bakers and their businesses thought I'd give bread a go.
I'm in love with bread!
I have LOTS and LOTS to learn yet, but am anxious to gain all the wisdom and experience I can.
