Vancouver bakery
We have been in Vacouver a week now and have found two favourite bakeries. One in Gastown, Nelson the Sea Gull, and one near the Roundhouse skytrain station called Small Victories.

Thanks for sharing that. It all looks so good.
I know it wouldn't sound odd to fellow TFLers, but to the otherwise uninitiated it does, that the first thing I do when in a new town, is search out the bakeries. You seem to have found some gems.
What is the soup in pic three (tomatoe with cream?) as well as the almond coated pastry? And what is that lovely looking dark loaf in pic four?
Great finds. You're on Holiday I'm assuming.
Enjoy.

Thanks for response, that is actually not soup but Cherie's latte. I am not a shopper so I like visiting bakeries, cheese shops and places that some call gourmet stores. We purchased that bread in the photo of the whole loaf and enjoyed it back at the hotel with some raw milk Brie. The slices where sold at the bakery at $4 for 2 slices with a dab of butter and a grape sliced in half.

Thanks Gerhard
Enjoy the rest of your trip.
