...but wouldn't that dragon look great with flames licking out of it's maw?

The dragon is amazing! If you started your fire right in front it would look really cool. Actually, even with the fire pushed back in you would still see the red flames through its mouth. I like the turtle one too.
I'm musing on a wood-fired bread oven for our 'retirement' place but in my mind it's been looking like a wood-fired bread oven. It's now become an amorphous mass in need of discovering a final shape. Perhaps something Gaudiesque. Some of the 'extensions' to the oven build put me in mind of Gaudi's Park Guell sculpture.
