Hi to all. I am new to baking bread and have just found this site. I have some questions which I intend to post but will check first to see if they have been covered in the past.
It looks to be an interesting site and I'm trawling through the many posts/questions and the excellent advice. Being new to this art, i have been somewhat bewildered by the many bread types and the vast array of techniques that can be applied to various breads. At the moment I am just getting to grips with basic white, whole meal and have tried a rye bread. However, I look forward to trying some other types and I have to say I find it very therapeutic and satisfying to make it and have enjoyed the improved taste and texture compared to the basic sliced white that is available in supermarkets.
I will ask some questions later as I'm sure I will face some difficulties. I don't think I will be posting any pictures as the bread that I make does not come up to the standard of the Marvelous creations I have seen here !!!
