Hello all-
I'm a has-been baker and pastry chef who doesn't know when to say quit. I've been in the business for 40 years and recently sold my restaurant and finished my degree in American history- but once this stuff is in your blood, you're hooked. I'm looking for some help fixing my Kitchenaid mixer!
Greetings, I'm trying to get my Kitchenaid mixer going again and could use some advice. When it went down, it was still running, but had no power in the mixer portion, but still could grind meat- until it stopped entirely. I've already replaced the brushes and the main gear (unnecessarily, but hey- a stitch in time, and all that). It strikes me there are two other options left, short of actually accepting that the motor itself is burned out. I'm about to replace the circuit board- any other suggestions?
If the motor operates properly but the beaters or attachments won't spin, it sounds as though the problem might be mechanical instead of electrical.
Something else to consider...
