ISO formula for Acme Edible Schoolyard bread
I picked this interesting loaf up at Acme Bakery in San Francisco. It's still moist and flavorful a week later. The counter person says it's 80% WW/20% WR. A little online browsing suggests it might also have some honey in it. Has anybody made it and if so would you share the recipe?
Edible Schoolyard is a project of Alice Waters to encourage schoolkids to eat healthy and have fun with food. It started at a school in Berkeley but has spread to a number of locations. Acme is a big supporter and I don't know whether there's an extra contribution to the program when you buy this bread. The triangular shape of the loaf is because it's supposed to look like a school bell.
