I've been using this site as a source of inspiration for the past several months and decided it was time to join the discussion!  I'm currently in Wisconsin, but will hopefully be moving to Australia next year.  I was in the Army for four years, then got a Bachelor's in Psychology, and then decided I had better follow my passion and become a Pastry Chef.  While in school to get a Baking & Pastry Associate's (currently), I discovered that while I love eating sweets and making cakes and desserts, my real passion is....you guessed it, bread!  I'm now baking bread at home, with the help of the Bread Baker's Apprentice and my homemade proofer.  Hopefully here soon I can get an internship at a bakery in my area.  My goal for the next couple years is to be an artisan bread baker.  

I am excited to find such a nice group of people who are knowledgeable and love bread, too!  I'm a big fan of the hearth breads, especially sourdough. I've been feeding my starter for about two months now, and he's very happy!  Currently there's two loaves of Potato Rosemary Bread in the oven - if you guys haven't tried it, you should! Anyhow, nice to meet everyone :)
