Calling Hobart N50 owners - does this sound OK?

Just bought an N50 unseen on eBay (yeah I know) for half the price of a new KA.  The listing picture looked good but now I've found out that it wasn't a picture of the actual machine :(

Anyway, the seller has now done a video of the actual machine running.  Although not very quiet I'm not sure it sounds bad and am hoping that renewing the grease will help.  I've got the service manual so I may have a play with the adjustment screw(s) to see if that helps.

What do you think?

But don't use a machine myself.

Sourdoughs are generally high hydration and do great with hand mixing. I use a Danish handheld dough hook and finish off with a little kneading to incorporate all the flour.

The dough at these hydrations will be shaggy. The stretch and folds accompanied by the long resting time develops the dough really well.

But these machines are always a good investments for a wide range of baking.

I only use the slow speed on my A200 for bread dough too. Give it a good clean and off you go... don't change gear when its running and keep your hands OUT. There's no safety guard on it and it'll break your wrist/arm if you get too close.
