Le Gout du Pain / The Taste of Bread / Calvel
hello,
I am after a copy of Le Gout du Pain / The Taste of Bread by R. Calvel to borrow (ideally in French) and am wondering if anyone would be kind enough to lend me a copy? I know it has a lot of value these days, reason why i cannot afford to buy it, but as an artisan baker interested to open my own place (in London UK) this sounds like the book i need to get my hands onto.
I know i have very little chance to get to see a copy, but i thought i d ask :-)

If you just want it for a short time I suggest a library. I borrowed it from a library and then extended the loan and had it for 2 months. Not sure in your area but here they even were able to have it shipped from a different library in the same state as my library didn't have a copy.

available on-line from a French download site. I can't imagine this is legal, and who knows whether it's safe... nevertheless, there it is, and it appears to be complete. When the cheapest printed copy available goes for over $1,000, it does tend to erode one's scruples a bit, I'm afraid. (Don't get me started about the 1986 changes in the publishing industry that resulted in good books going out of print so much faster than they used to!)
