Easiest sourdough recipe adjusts to whole grains
I can't call this a new bread in my 108 series, but I have adapted a recipe for whole grains that works well every time. It's a miracle recipe, really. When I'm busy, this is the recipe that I use. I made two breads this week with it, a rye and a whole wheat.
Looks nice, and I love the timing part, it fits into a working person's schedule. Have you tried it with 100% whole wheat?
I haven't tried this recipe yet with 100 percent whole grains. I suspect that more water would be needed. My fear is that the loaves won't be as light, but that is definitely worth a try.
