Duel Fuel Boule
Had some pressure on this bake. This loaf was requested by my teenage girl for her high school leadership meeting. She likes this particular formula that uses equal parts of my wheat and rye starters.
It usually ends up being a nice big loaf with lots of flavor and it looks like this won't disappoint. It sang to me for the longest time after pulling it out of the oven. Wish I could go see the crumb, but that isn't going to get to happen.

I like "duel fuel" rye and wheat breads too. Do you like Hamelman's? He mixes a stiff rye with liquid wheat. I make it with whole rye and whole wheat starters.
@jkandell I haven't gotten Hamelmans book yet. It is on the list. His videos online are some of my favorites.
This is just my own creation from some different ideas. Will have to get his book soon and compare. It does make for a nice loaf. Do you use equal amounts of starter or have some other variation you like?
