Rye Test Week 3 C

This week,  Rye Raisin Scones...very different from what I typically think of as a scone.

When you posted that this was one of your bakes for this week, it made me think of raisin scones I grew up on from a local baker.  Yes, they did not look like this.  They were shaped more like a biscuit.  All that being said... yours look very good and my mouth is watering for some.  This Rye testing is exciting and challenging (which I love.)  Can't wait for Stan's book to come out and keep trying many more wonderful recipes.  As always thanks for sharing. Thanks everyone. These are interesting. They are good, but I hear scone and think of something sweet and shortbready. So when I bite into it..the flavor is almost disappointing. They are good with butter and jam....
