One more bakery suggestion - and fish - in New York
Okay, this post is mostly about lox at the Zabar's fish counter, but also about the bakery a bit. I couldn't resist sharing something about that goes so well on bread. But there's stuff about bread as well. Now I'm rambling. I write about the onion rolls and the guy who slices the fish. They are the stars, truly. In combination, you will have an out-of-this-world food experience (and I am not a foodie). This is an only-in-New York (well, maybe New Jersey, too) opportunity. Plus, with some great bakeries around the city that I have yet to try, all of this bread is worth a trip.
