Home Brew beer and Sourdough Bread
So I thought I'd try my Home brew beer in this bread taking all your previous comments into account.

Ah, beer bread, and a beauty, at that. Nice. I'm always surprised at how the flavors in the beer come through. Can you tell us more about it? any crumb shots?

Hi Cathy
The Bread was made from a plain 100% hydration sourdough starter, mixed with unbleached Stoneground white flour and a little stoneground rye flour with my own homebrew dark malty beer. I'd love to show a few more pictures but I have a very eager family who love (fortunately) my bread. This one was whisked out of my kitchen even before it cooled down so I didn't get chance for any more pictures, My grown up son and family are probably enjoying it right now!! The grandchildren refuse to eat bread unless its "Grandads" I will have to ask for a critique next time he drops in to see me.
Home made dark brew is even better. It isn't quite cool enough to make some ale here yet but it will be in a month or so ....so had to use DeSchutes Black Butte Porter in the SD today. Well Done and
Happy Beer Bread Baking
Though I confess to being more curious about the recipe for this "dark malty beer" - sounds like exactly my sort of thing, especially as the weather gets cooler.
