Joke for the day....

How can you tell that someone is an amateur baker…..

By the hard dough sticking to the finger hairs :-)

Although, hard dough bits sticking to finger hairs is not funny when you try to remove them!

the pros and the rest of us is that the pros have no hair left on their hands... much less their fingers :-)

is not because the hair is in the bread. :0

was - now there is no hair left to get in the dough for pros ...but for the rest of us...happens most every time for those us that develop the gluten in the dough by hand.  No worries - just some extra free protein in the mix making it much more healthy and natural :-)

I count the hairs on my fingers before I touch the dough, and then again after the bread is ready to go in the oven. If there are any unaccounted for, I throw it all out and start over.

Latex gloves just made my dough taste funny. ;)

will eat the petroleum in your latex gloves and get rid of that funny taste in the dough at the same time:--)
