SFBI's Christmas Tree - constructed of bread
Hello everyone,
The link below contains a video showing how the SFBI bakers create and construct a very beautiful Christmas Tree, made of bread dough, and decorated with dough ornaments.
The tree is gorgeous, the bakers are so talented!...and their oven capacity is *amazing*.

This is amazing! I'm going to share the video with my family, all of whom enjoy bread.
Breadsong, my mother made a special request this year, that I make your Christmas Rose; it was so much fun when we made it last year and my family truly enjoyed the bread. In fact, Mom left the photos up on her refrigerator all year--talk about a hint! My goal this time is to learn how to post photos to this site. Between my photographer husband and my computer-scientist son, we should be able to figure it out...?
I'm almost afraid to show my mom this video; don't know if I can handle that much pressure for Christmas 2014! :-)
Happy Holidays to all, and best wishes for a healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year,
Windischgirl
Thanks so much for your note - it makes me happy your mom enjoyed the rose bread so much.
Making the tree looked like a two-person job, maybe it's something you and your mom can work on together, next year! :^)
Happy baking, and happy holidays to you and your family, as well.

to a whole new level! Now they are 'Artisan' trees!
I am AMAZED at how they did this. The cutwork on the branches was amazing to watch. I just got home from San Fran and I never made it to Thorough Bakery. Now I really regret that!.
Thank you for posting this, Breadsong.
You're welcome - sorry you missed visiting the bakery!
I loved the cutwork too.
