Fig, & Walnut Bread
Made 2 loaves of bread today. Roasted some fresh figs, with a bit of sugar, added toasted walnuts that was toasted with a bit of butter & olive oil, and threw in a sprig of Rosemary with the nuts. Removed the sprig of course, Tasty bread. Tomorrow will toast some and I bet it will taste even better. Oh, forgot the last 4 or 10 minutes just topped it with some sugar in the raw for an added bit of sweetness. Crumb shot added.

for your comments. Never had fresh figs before and really didn't know what I wanted to do with them. The bread is really tasty.
