Wheat berries

Earlier in the week, I posted that a good source for wheat berries, at a really good price, was at an LDS cannery.  Well, rumor has it, due to government intervention, as of June 27, you may only be able to purchase the wheat in bulk bags, instead of being able to get it in #10 cans. 

I like the cans because they are all sealed with an oxygen absorber to prevent bug investations, so you can store them for a long time without worrying about freezer space.

The other alternative is to buy Mylar bags, and oxygen absorbers and seal them yourself at home.

I buy white Prairie Gold there.  I am not a member, so they do sell to the public.  They have very limited hours, since everything is done by volunteers, so it would pay to check that out.
