Electrolux assistent -- can it mash potatoes?
So, I'm about to pull the trigger on an electrolux mixer purchase. I plan to use it to make large batches of dough on a regular basis, but I also want to use it to make mashed potatoes, which are a big favorite among my kids. Can an electrolux mixer do a decent job with these?

I have one, and although I, myself, have not used it to mash potatoes, there are you-tube videos around from the company that mention its use for that very purpose. Just looking at the roller, it all seems logical to me.
I have had mine for 8 or 10 years and love it dearly.

I use mine to mash potatoes. It does a fantastic job. Use the roller and turn it all the way up (gradually) after the milk and butter is added. I preheat my bowl in the oven at 200 so the taters stay nice and hot. I love this machine.
