It's finally here, at last! - Brad & Taylor Folding Proofer
Just received the latest Lakeland (UK based) catalogue this morning and A BIG HAPPY surprise! They started selling Brad & Taylor's folding proofer, that's been talked about and used by many of our fellow members in US. Not sure if I'm buying it at the moment, to be honest (especially after seeing Juergen's brilliant idea on the handmade proofer with reptile thermo :D), but thought I'd better let other UK TFLers know about it anyway. ;)
From whom did you purchase it from ?
Please do tell, I really want to know where in Europe i can find it!
Sorry I can't help. I'm based in UK (as well as Lakeland) and have no idea if/where it's available in continental Europe. Maybe you can contact their H.O. in US to ask about if they're also selling in your country. Or mayby you can ask if Lakeland does delivery to Europe.
It is awesome. Not only because it works so well, but because it folds down to almost nothing for storage.
I don't have one..but here in Canada I noticed they are also selling it,

I have been chasing B&T on this for the last 12 months and Lakeland informed me that it will be available from 14th January priced at £149.99.
Disappointing given that the US price is $148 but direct conversion of $ to £ seems to be standard practise these days.
Sorry, just realized the link to Lakeland page was not working. (fixed now)
According to their website, they'll get the stock on 23rd Jan.
Let me know when you bought it what you think of it. I usually proof two oval banettons (both 500g size) together, so will be very interested to know if the inside-size is big enough for it.
Actually Lakeland do ship internationally (the shipping costs for EU is £7.50) http://www.lakeland.co.uk/info/DeliveryAndReturns
That suits me perfectly ;)
Well, the way you asked the question to my op was a bit cconfusing. :-D I was giving the info about a UK company starting selling it, so I wasn't sure why you're asking me where in 'Europe' you could buy it. It sounded like you considering UK was not a part of Europe (though I suspect some politicians in continental European countries may want to insist UK shouldn't be a part of it anymore.:-D ), so I did say 'continental' Europe in my response.;-)
Anyway..... Let me know what you think of the product when you got it yourself. Thanks in advance..:-)
