Inside the Jewish Bakery coffeecake dough
In process of making the coffeecake dough on pg. 156. Followed directions completely and checking # 5 directions my dough is not rising after 1 hr. Yeast is good. What could be the cause.....?
Could your rising environment be too cool?
it was in a warm garage could the recipe be wrong it said 1/3cup owater then eratta said 2/3 cupp water could this be the cause

Even if it took longer to rise... wouldn't it still taste awesome, eventually?.... how did it turn out?
