Ever feel like cheating on your Sourdough?

Right now, I'm over three weeks into a project about baking sourdough rye breads.  I've been baking quite a bit, but sometimes feel a little overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of it all that's taking up space in the kitchen.

Last night, I had a dream where I finally went and bought a baking stone so I can make a really fine Ciabatta.  Why is this cheating?  I started this project because baking bread, especially I feel sourdough rye bread, is something that speaks more than taste to us.  Sourdough rye is just as much about nourishing a community as it is about personal taste satisfaction.

In this blog post, I tease out why it is bread is so important--to more than just me--and include some videos that any online baker would fine compelling.
