loaf shape
just did a sandwich loaf in the bread machine for the first time. The loaf didn't look much like a loaf at all. The bread was good in flavor but seemed really dense. What do I need to do to get the loaf to take the shape of the pan in the machine?
Could you share a little more information? Is the bread maker designed to make a vertical or horizontal loaf shape? Did the dough rise at all? What was the recipe? What kind of yeast was used?
Given a bit more information, maybe we can troubleshoot. My first suspicion is about some yeast issues. If you have a photo of the loaf (cut if possible) that would help a lot.
