Bread making classes in Toronto?
I would really like to take an intensive session(s) on artisanal breadmaking and am wondering if anyone knows of any in Toronto area, similar to those offered to homebakers at SFBI or the King Arthur Baking Education Centre.
Thank you,
Mira

Mira,
You might want to check out www.marygbread.com. Two-day courses are offered, featuring a wood-fired oven and artisanal techniques.

Thank you for the links! Not keen on wearing the "full George Brown uniform" but I am very interested in some of their artisanal bread courses; I hope I can take them without having to take the full course load or earning a certificate. I'll follow up with them.
CanuckJim, the intensive two-day weekend session is more along the lines of what I was thinking about but not sure about my ability to get up to Port Perry on the weekend.
Thanks again!
Mira,
It can be done by GoTrain and Durham Transit. Not particularly fast, but it can happen.
