Hello from snowy Western NC!

I've been lurking here awhile and thought I'd introduce myself. After four months or so of trying my hand at baking bread, things are beginning to get serious. Having been initially teased by no-knead recipes, I have actually now "gotten my hands dirty" and I really love it! (And so does my husband.)  This website has been invaluable for info and inspiration.  I've been real lucky so far with no abject failures and for me that is phenomenal and encouraging.  I look forward to learning more and just hope I can avoid too many more extra pounds!
