Goodmorning Yozza
Great bake - they'll be snapped up. Best wishes for the sale today, it'll be interesting to hear more about it. Is there a specific project the funds will be used for?
I too have your friend in my thoughts and prayers.
Robyn
Thanks folks for the comments and kind thoughts expressed i have printed them off and will pass them to the ladies at the hospital.
I have had to be strong and not cut into the breads to either see if the beetroot colour has remained or for my breakfast.
I did a beetroot loaf before but posted it as a chamelon bread (search chameleon bread) SORRY dont know how to add the link? as the pink had all but disappeared to a yellow /green colour, in that dough i grated beetroot into the preferment whereas this one i used the beetroot as cubes and incorporated at the end of the mix, this time i also used the water the beets were boiled in for a lovely hot pink preferment. More to follow !
Sigh, I am sorry your friend is going through that dreaded crap. I donated.
Thank you Blackwood . that post goes back to 2010! But the best thing i am happy to say 12 years later is the friend has made a full recovery, she is a nurse herself in teaching midwifery and she was very fortunate to have some wonderful Specialist doctors and nurses caring for her and although the prognosis was not good she has come out the other side and we her friends and her family give thanks that we are so lucky to be still enjoying her time on earth with us. This time positivity, hope, belief and good fortune prevailed. thankyou for your comment kind regards Derek.
