Move the fire to the side and keep the fire going. Sweep and lightly mop the cooking area. The fire will help keep oven hot and if you need to move the coals over to heat up the floor again the are there.
It doesn't have to be a big fire, but you want one..it creates a convection of heat rotating around the oven..that's why you want it pushed to the side of the oven. Check out the fornobravo.com site for photos of a how your wfo oven works. There are some great photos explaining a lot about the heat and fire in your oven.
