Peter Reinhart's Caramelized Onion and Asiago Miche
Just finished baking my way through Peter Reinhart's Book, Tthe Bread Baker's Apprentice", and the last loaf was this gorgeous Caramelized Onion and Asiago Miche. Crispy bottom crust, chewy on top and wonderful open crumb.

Oh my but that looks fabulous....and I may just have to make it today. Too hot here to go outside (90s with humidity) and do anything and the central air is on anyway

As there were 212 of us all over the world, baking from this book and then blogging about it, we all decided it would not be fair to Peter Reinhart to reproduce the recipes in our blogs, as then no one would need to go and buy the book. So, sorry, but I can not give the recipe. But if you are looking for a fantastic resource book for bread baking, go and get a copy. It is a wonderful book.
