Bread & Pizza Bash, 29th May

Hello all,

Every year we hold our annual, rite of spring Mary G's Artisan Breads gala Bread & Pizza Bash, with everyone hovering around the mouth of our wood fired oven.  Anyone on this forum who might be in or near Toronto on May 29th is welcome to attend.  It's a BYOB and lawn chairs event, and we ask for $10 per person to cover some of the cost of ingredients.  If you're interested, send me an email at info@marygbread.com, and I'll forward location info.  I'm trying, not very well, to get a handle on how many people will be attending, so we can prep properly.  Last year, we had about 80 people from Ontario, Quebec, New York State and Pennsylvania. Basically, we're 70 kms north and east of Toronto, in farm country, north of Oshawa and near Port Perry.

Through the day, I demo a few pizzas and such, but mostly people are on their own to shape, top and bake their own creations.  This leads to some very interesting interpretations of round, to say the least.
