Boulangerie Poilane: a currently open Parisian bakery and its history
The breads look out of this world delicious. And a Chandelier made of BREAD, how could I not bring this to our attention here at The Fresh Loaf ?

We just returned from our 31st trip to Paris. I met M. Poilane before he died when visiting his bakery years ago. Cafes, brasseries will always advertise "Bread de Poilane" as a sign of the best bread. All of us on the AOL Paris Message Board were so sad when news came of their deaths.
