Das Unit Converter - good for baking!
I found this nice piece of free software - Das Unit Converter - on the internet and have been using it for a few weeks now. For baking, the weight and volume sections are particularly useful to me.

I tried to download and install this twice, and when I tried to run it, I got an error message. Thanks anyway though!!

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. It's a Windows program. Are you running on a Mac? Do you remember what the error message was? Just trying to help...

I had the same problem with my windows xp system. Direct save ended up with "corrupt file" message. Downloads from cnet(download.com), and another service(can't recall offhand), just did not happen.
Oh well, no biggie. Just letting you know. I actually use the Josh Madison Convert program, but the included currency converter in Das' would have been nice.
Update: A later attempt to download from Cnet was successful. Thanks.
No I am running Windows XP and downloaded it from the CNET site which was also offered.....oh well....Sorry but I don't remember the message except that it said it was corrupt.
I've sent an e-mail to the creator of the software giving this link showing the issues. Hopefully I'll get a useful reply...

New Issue. Output field view cut off, on all converters:
Oh well, again. Back to the excellent "Convert".
There is free unit converter in the apps on the I phone and it really comes in handy for me sometimes. I am sure other smart-phones have one.
