What should Spelt look like?
I just opened the huge bucket of Spelt flour that a friend gave me and it lloks more like AP flour than WW flour. There are no brown specks. Could this be Spelt AP flour or is this what it should look like? Thanks
It's probably white spelt flour instead of brown (wholegrain) spelt flour. I use it for sweet cakes, like plain flour, for selfraising I add some baking powder.
Enjoy the baking.

Let us know what recipes you find? I have a couple pounds of the same white spelt flour in the freezer that I have not figured out how to use.
