Hang in there.  We have all had (and still have) failures.  It took me almost fifteen  years to make a loaf of bread that I could be proud of and it was this forum that carried me over the threshold.  Nobody on this forum will abandon you.  Share your formulas, images of your work and your frustrations (we all have them) and you'll be amazed at how much help you can get here.

Welcome to TFL, KTK.  What are you trying to bake?  Rye? Wheat? Whole Wheat?

Are you using volume measurements (cups) rather than weighing your ingredients with a scale?

If you will offer some specifics, you'll get lots of help here.  

The devil is in the details.....
