Nice loaf. I like the even browning that results form baking in pyrex.
So where'd you find a round pyrex loaf pan?
The tube pans had a brief splash of popularity about 30 years ago. I got one as a reward for touring some overpriced lake lots in Missouri.
Maybe the idea is coming back around.
A very kind soul on another forum sent it to me as a gift.....
It slid out of the Pyrex tube as easy as winking..... qahtan
So, this is a cylindrical tube of glass for baking in then? It does not sound like it is split long ways like the loaf pan you were looking for earlier this year then. Thanks in advance if there is any chance you could post a picture of the pan.

No it is not exactlly like the one I am looking for but it is very good, and as you can see does a good job.. And yes Pyrex brought them out in the 70s.
